For all of you who are loyal DBZ hardcore fans, I'm sure like me, you were disappointed by the 2009 theatrical release of
Dragonball Evolution. I don't even know if disappointed is appropriate. Fox ruined the entire art and concept of Dragonball z's creator, Akira Toriyama's work. The story was absolute garbage, and the cast was absolute garbage. None of these actors captured the true personalities of these characters. Dragonball z is one of the best anime's in the world and this movie went waay off topic. No director should have touched this without the full research into the story. With all the great action films we have, and the great celebrities we have, this movie's outcome could have been avoided. Here my, and this is just my opinion, list of male celebrities that would be great at as playing DBZ characters(Acting style and looks)
1. Channing Tatum- Goku (Saiyain of earth)

Channing Tatum just has that thing! He's sweet, funny, and I believe he could master the true happy go lucky personality of Goku 100 percent waaaay better than Justin Chatwin.
2. Hugh Jackman -VEGETA

He's got the look, and he's got the edge. Hugh Jackman will be able to mirror Vegeta perfectly. Look at the great job he did as Wolverine!!!
3.Vin Diesal- Piccolo

Diesel will definitely be able to immoralize Piccolo's bad ass, moody attitude.
4. Noah Lomax, Maxwell Perry- Gohan

With a good hair dye, and the right coaching, one of these to up and coming child actor's could play little Gohan. I would suggest a casting, just to be sure the right child is found.
5.Sebastian Saraceno- Krillin

I think this is a good choice!
6. Eliver Ling- Yamcha

Good looks, an awesome martial artist, I could think of no other actor that could bring this character to life.
7. Scott Adkins- Tien

This is a good choice for Tienshenhan. Scott Adkins is the walking, breathing Tien. He would be a great choice.
8. Jackie Chan- Master Roshi
Jackie Chan as Master Roshi would be hilarious. Jackie is a great actor, martial artist, and is very funny. He would be great at acting out Master Roshi's comedic moments.
A lot of the other side characters can be found easily, but a few may need to be created in CG, since there are no real life people to portray these characters. It will just take a little work and effort. If someone will just take their time creating a live action movie of this popular cartoon, the outcome will be amazing. I have absolute faith someone who knows the show in and out will be able to bring it to life amazingly. Overall, this is just my opinion.
